Health Education Radio Programming

Under funding from the University of Miami Department of Family Medicine /Community Health (Area Health Education Center--(AHEC) and the Public Health Trust/Jackson Memorial Hospital, CHS hosts a popular bi-weekly radio program, and broadcasts daily health promotion public service announcements (PSA’s) in Creole.

Creole-speaking members of this underserved population about available health care services.
